Technology Enhanced Arts Learning Project (TEAL)

This digital hub for in-person and virtual learning experiences  surrounding Arts Integration professional development in Los Angeles County schools is a helpful place to begin exploring how districts are using blended models of PD for flexibility and engagement.

This is the Arts Education in Maryland Schools website, which has initiative information in Maryland and beyond.  Lots of great resources for schools starting out!

The Inspired Classroom

This is a fabulous blog run by Elizabeth Peterson that discusses, promotes and advocates arts integration techniques and resources from a variety of sources.  This is a fantastic blog to immerse yourself in all things AI!

21st Century Learning Initiative
The 21st Century Learning Initiative focuses on what we need to concentrate on with regards to curriculum design and presentation to allow our students to be ready for the 21st century.

Mississippi Whole Schools

The Whole Schools Initiative is an arts integration website with information on strategies, lessons and teacher trainings.  Lots of wonderful information here!

The Kennedy Center has a fantastic website that provides lesson plans, professional learning opportunities and more for teachers, parents and students.

Arts Every Day
A website focusing on techniques and resources for incorporating the arts in all classrooms in a variety of meaningful and rich ways.

Chicago Arts Partners in Education is one of the first organizations in the country to incorporate a large scale arts integration model.  Their criteria for meeting arts integration standards are found here.

Arts Education Partnership (AEP)
This is the national group which provides opportunities for networking with artists and general educators on a national level.

HELPFUL ONLINE TOOLS – Like Pinterest, but specially designed for Educators!  This format is Arts Integrated at it’s heart…you’ve gotta check it out! – Create and share visual ideas online and in print with rigorous and easy-to-use infographic tools.

Piktochart – Another really wonderful infographic creation tool.  Easy drag and drop functionality.

Buncee – We’ve done quite a few features on how to use Buncee to both save time and to integrate standards.  We can’t say enough about this incredible platform.

Creatubbles – This free tool is like a cross between Pinterest and Facebook for showcasing artwork.  Developed specifically with children in mind, this is a safe and fun way to use ePortfolios and capture community support.

Art to Remember – Want to put together the easiest and most profitable fundraiser ever for your school?  You’ve got to try Art to Remember.  They are truly a one-stop-shop and when used with arts integration and STEAM lessons/units, the results are amazing.

Canva – This is one of just a few select tools that we rely on the create our graphics.  And it’s so simple that students can use it to create informational graphics, posters and branding pieces for meeting speaking/listening standards.  Plus, it’s free!
