Keynote and Speakers
Our keynote speaker this winter is one of my all-time favorite authors: Dan Pink. Â Dan Pink has one of the most-watched TED talks of all time and is the author of the book A Whole New Mind. Â He’s an incredible thought-leader in education and he’ll be speaking directly to the teachers in our audience. Â He’ll also be live-chatting with folks the day of the conference, so you’ll be able to directly ask him anything.
We also have a wide variety of sessions and a diverse group of presenters this winter that I’m really proud to share. Â These sessions and presenters have been hand-picked to offer you ideas for arts integration and STEAM that are working right now, in real schools. Â No theory – just extremely practical and instantly useable lessons, assessments, processes and projects.
NEW – Partnership with ASCD and ISTE
Something else we’re very excited about is being able to partner with the nationally-recognized membership organizations ASCD and ISTE. Â Both of these organizations understand the value of integrating the arts and are providing their members with a great opportunity to participate this winter. Â If you’re a member of either of these groups, you’ll be able to register for the conference at an exclusive rate of $89.
Each of these organizations will also be offering sessions in leadership, technology, math and science in and through creativity and the arts. Â The presenters of these sessions are fantastic and we’ve been learning so much from them already. Â I can’t wait for you to see them as well.
Crazy-Good Giveaways
One of the things that makes me giddy is sharing incredible giveaways with our participants. Â You work so hard all year long and to give you the tools and technology that you often can’t purchase for yourself…well that’s just icing on the cake. Â Here’s what we’re giving away this winter:
- An iPhone X. Â That’s right – the most anticipated new technology out of Apple this year is being given away to one lucky winner.
- Art Supplies Shopping Spree. Â We’re giving away (4) $500 shopping sprees so you can purchase whatever arts supplies, musical instruments or tools you need to bring Arts Integration and STEAM to life.
- Robotics Kits. Â Two participants will walk away with a robotics kit that includes: Little Bits, Dash and Dot, and a Sphero.
PD Hours AND Graduate Credit
As always, you’ll be able to earn 10 PD hours by attending the conference – either live or on-demand. Â These certificates are personalized and are accepted by most school districts. This winter, we’re proud to also be able to offer you 1 Graduate Credit through California State University San Marcos. Â So whether you need the PD hours or a graduate credit for your steps, this will work for you.
As you can tell, this winter’s event is going to be the best one we’ve produced. Â And it wouldn’t be the same without you there! Â Be sure to check out ALL the details and register over here now to get the very best pricing possible. Â I look forward to seeing you in February!
