Technology Requirements
The Accelerator is a platform for K-12 teachers to access digital lesson plans, teaching resources, and online professional development. The following technology requirements allow for a seamless digital experience for the teacher user:
Devices
- Desktop/laptop devices are recommended.
- Desktop/laptop devices must have Windows 7/8/10 or MacOS 10.10 or above.
- All videos are closed captioned with the option for sound via speakers or headphones.
- Mobile devices may be used.
- The most recent versions of iOS and Android operating systems are recommended.
Connectivity
- High-speed Internet connection: Cable, DSL, etc.
- Internet Web Browser (Firefox 3+, Microsoft Edge, Safari 3.1+, Google Chrome).
- Personal E-mail Account.
Creation
- Word Processor (MS Word, Apple Pages, Google Docs).
- PDF Reader (Adobe Acrobat Reader or Apple Preview).
