Final Registration for STEAM Conference

This is it, my friends.  This is the FINAL WEEK that you are able to register for the 2014 Connectivity Online STEAM Conference: gathering STEAM. Registration will officially close on Friday so that we can ensure everyone is has a smooth user experience next Tuesday.  If you haven’t already registered and know that this is definitely not the right learning opportunity for you this summer, then you can stop reading today’s article and enjoy this summer day.  I totally respect that decision and I look forward to continuing to connect with you in other ways here on EdCloset. But if you’re on the fence about whether or not to attend.

Why You Need to Join Us

Practical Content that Gets You Fired UP to Teach!  This is our 3rd annual STEAM conference and I can say without a shadow of a doubt that is it the best one we’ve ever designed.  Our presenters are incredible (I’m so stoked to hear from Shelly Terrell and Scott McLeod – I love following their work!) and the content is so rich.  Trust me – I’ve been to STEAM conferences where I was lucky to get one takeaway that worked for me.  This isn’t like that.  You will walk away with so many ideas, strategies, tools, and resources that you’ll be itching to get into your classroom just to try them all out.  And for just $99, you can’t beat the cost to value ratio!

Flexible, Anytime Access.  If you’re worried that you won’t be able to attend the STEAM conference that day, don’t be!  Your conference registration enables you to access EVERYTHING for an entire year after the event.  Every presentation, every exhibit booth, every resource.  So if you can’t be there that day, or if you can only make it for part of the day, you’ll still be able to view all of the materials.

Hands-on Demonstrations and Exhibits.  This isn’t the first year we’ve provided an exhibit hall, but it IS the first time we’ve had hands-on demos with products.  We’re thrilled to have Blick Arts, Gelli Arts and Presonus sharing lessons that include actual products so you get to try it out first to make sure it will work for your students.  Plus, the exhibitor hall allows you to add any free resources the vendors are giving away to your digital backpack, so you’ll have everything you need – right at your fingertips.

A Reliable 3D Online Platform.  This is one of the most exciting parts for me to see come to life!  This platform is simply amazing.  It is just like being in a conference hall, with an auditorium, classrooms and an exhibit hall at the touch of a button.  Turn on your computer or mobile device, log in, and you are inside a virtual STEAM conference experience like never before.  Plus, since it’s being run by WebEx – a leader in online information delivery – we don’t have to worry about stalled videos, downtime or tech glitches.

FANTASTIC FREEBIES! We have some fun and fabulous giveaways planned for the day.  Anyone who attends the live conference gets entered in for a chance to win.  We’re giving away cool things like Boogie Board eWriter sets and personal mini-speakers.  Don’t miss the chance to win tech tools that will bring STEAM into your classroom.

How to Register

Registering for the STEAM conference is simple.  Just go on over to our online store, add the conference to your cart, and checkout.  We accept all major credit cards and Paypal.  School POs can no longer be accepted due to the close date of the conference, but we do provide an invoice to you for reimbursement purposes.  3 easy steps to get you valuable, flexible, exciting professional development.  We hope to see you join us next Tuesday!
